1. State of compliance with the requirements
Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, this website is partially compatible with conformity level AA of the "Guidelines for Accessible Web Content Web - WCAG 2.1" and with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08). The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:Content from third parties, such as third-party studies or presentation materials, social media elements that are not within the sphere of influence of the Gesäuse National Park are excluded from Directive (EU) 2016/2102. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this third-party content with accessibility regulations.
The PDF documents and Office documents are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged, so that they cannot be captured and used by screen reader users or only inadequately. This means that the WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not met.
Videos: Our videos have no subtitles and therefore are not accessible.
Images: Our images should all have alternative text, so that this information is accessible to screen reader users. If you notice an image without alternative text, please let us know immediately.

3. Preparation of this Statement on Accessibility
This statement was drawn up on 18 June 2021.The compatibility of the website with the WZG for the implementation of the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 was assessed in the form of a self-test under WCAG 2.1 in accordance with the AA conformity level in June 2021. The website was completely revised in 2021 and attention was already paid to accessibility during the revision (implemented at that time). Individual page contents are regularly checked by the web editors when new content is published.

5. Enforcement procedure
In the event of unsatisfactory answers from the above-mentioned contact option, you can contact the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung/FFG) to lodge a complaint. The FFG receives complaints electronically via the contact form: https://www.ffg.at/form/kontaktformular-beschwerdestelleThe complaints are examined by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the requirements of the Web Accessibility Act, in particular deficiencies in compliance with the accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an institution attributable to it.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG must make recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the present deficiencies.
